FIRST AID
OFFLINE

ALL GUIDES AVAILABLE OFFLINE โ€” No internet needed

๐Ÿฉธ Severe Bleeding โ€บ
1
Apply firm direct pressure on the wound using a clean cloth or bandage.
2
Do not remove the cloth โ€” if it soaks through, add more on top.
3
Elevate the injured area above heart level if possible.
4
Keep applying pressure for at least 15 minutes without releasing.
5
Call emergency services immediately using your SOS button.
๐Ÿ”ฅ Burns โ€บ
1
Cool the burn immediately with cool (not cold) running water for 20 minutes.
2
Do NOT use ice, butter, or toothpaste โ€” these make it worse.
3
Remove jewellery or tight clothing near the burn area carefully.
4
Cover loosely with a clean non-fluffy material like cling film.
5
Seek medical help for burns larger than the size of your hand.
โค๏ธ Heart Attack โ€บ
1
Make the person sit or lie down comfortably. Stay calm.
2
Loosen any tight clothing around neck, chest, or waist.
3
If they are conscious, give one aspirin tablet (325mg) to chew slowly.
4
If unconscious and not breathing, begin CPR immediately.
5
Press chest hard and fast โ€” 100-120 times per minute. Call for help.
๐Ÿฆด Fracture / Broken Bone โ€บ
1
Do not try to straighten the bone or move the injured area.
2
Immobilize the injury using a splint โ€” use a board, stick, or rolled newspaper.
3
Apply ice pack wrapped in cloth to reduce swelling. Not directly on skin.
4
If bone is visible (open fracture), cover with clean cloth. Do not push it back.
5
Keep the person warm and still. Get medical help immediately.
๐ŸŒŠ Drowning โ€บ
1
Remove person from water safely. Do not risk yourself โ€” use rope or object.
2
Check if they are breathing. If not, start rescue breathing immediately.
3
Give 2 rescue breaths first, then 30 chest compressions. Repeat.
4
Do NOT hold them upside down to remove water โ€” this wastes critical time.
5
Even if they recover, take them to hospital โ€” delayed complications are common.
๐Ÿ˜ฎ Choking โ€บ
1
Ask the person to cough forcefully if they can. Encourage them to keep coughing.
2
Give 5 firm back blows between the shoulder blades with heel of your hand.
3
If that fails, give 5 abdominal thrusts (Heimlich manoeuvre) from behind.
4
Alternate back blows and abdominal thrusts until object is dislodged.
5
If person becomes unconscious, begin CPR and call emergency services.
